At Mayflowers Vintage Florist, we take great care in every bouquet, arrangement and event we create. These Terms & Conditions outline how we manage orders, payments, deliveries and cancellations helping us ensure your experience is smooth and stress-free.
All our flowers are fresh, seasonal and sourced with care. Because nature can be unpredictable, certain blooms may be unavailable from time to time. If that happens, we’ll make thoughtful substitutions using flowers of equal or greater value always keeping your style and colour palette in mind.
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise noted.
You can order online, over the phone, or in-store.
Orders are confirmed once full payment has been received.
Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 12 PM (Monday to Friday). Orders received after this time will be delivered the next business day.
We deliver across Newcastle, and Lake Macquarie. Delivery fees vary by suburb and are calculated at checkout.
While we’ll always do our best to meet your preferred time, exact delivery times can’t be guaranteed.
If no one is home, our driver will leave your flowers in a safe, shaded spot or at a nearby location (such as a neighbour or reception desk). A calling card may be left to let the recipient know.
Changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before delivery.
Refunds are not available for orders that have already been prepared or dispatched.
As flowers are perishable, we can’t offer refunds or replacements for change of mind.
If your flowers arrive damaged or not as expected, please get in touch within 24 hours with photos so we can make it right.
We love working with couples to bring their floral vision to life.
After your consultation, we’ll provide a detailed quote valid for 14 days.
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance due four weeks before your wedding.
We understand plans can evolve. Minor changes can often be made up to six weeks before your wedding, depending on flower availability.
If your event is cancelled, your deposit will be retained. Cancellations made within four weeks of the event require full payment, as flowers and materials are ordered in advance.
We work with what’s in season and market-fresh on the day. If a specific flower becomes unavailable, we’ll substitute blooms that best match your design and palette.
Wedding delivery and setup are available throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, and surrounds. Fees depend on distance and setup requirements.
Once flowers leave our studio or have been delivered, we’re unable to take responsibility for damage caused by weather or mishandling at the venue.
We understand how important these tributes are and will handle your order with care and compassion.
Please provide accurate service details (including funeral home name, date and time) to ensure timely delivery.
We recommend placing funeral orders at least 5-7 days in advance.
Cancellations must be made 24 hours before delivery. Refunds aren’t available once flowers have been prepared.
We want your flowers to be as long-lasting as they are beautiful. To help them thrive:
Keep arrangements out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
Refresh the water daily and trim stems if possible.
If you’re concerned about the freshness or quality of your flowers, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos — we’ll always do our best to help.
We respect your privacy. Any personal information you share (like your name, address, or phone number) is used only to complete your order and improve our service. We never sell or share your details with third parties.
Sometimes things happen beyond our control — such as extreme weather or supply chain disruptions. In these cases, Mayflowers Vintage Florist cannot be held liable for delays or cancellations.
